November at Middle Park Florist: A Time to Honour, Prepare & Grow

As the final leaves of Halloween are swept away, we welcome a new season of reflection and preparation. November is a beautiful month of transition where we pause to remember, begin planning for the festive season, and enjoy the natural shift in what’s blooming.

🌺 Remembrance Day – November 11

We will be observing Remembrance Day on the 11th of November, a day to honour those who served and continue to serve.

If you’re attending a service and would like to lay a floral tribute, we are taking wreath orders now. Each wreath is thoughtfully handcrafted using seasonal blooms and meaningful foliage to suit the occasion. Please contact us early to place your order.

🌿 Featured Foliage of the Month

This month, we’re celebrating not just flowers—but the beauty of foliage. Often overlooked, foliage forms the foundation of every bouquet and brings rich depth and texture to our designs. Our favourites this month include:

  • Viburnum – soft, full, and lush
  • Pittosporum – fine-leafed and perfect for volume
  • Magnolia – a bold contrast of deep green and bronze
  • Eucalyptus – the unmistakable Australian classic

Whether you’re gifting or decorating your home, these greens bring a natural elegance to any arrangement.

🎁 Holiday Season Countdown

Can you believe it’s only one month until Christmas? We’re already feeling the festive energy as we begin stocking up on gifts, potted plants, terrariums, and holiday goodies.

Whether you’re looking for a last-minute gift, something unique for a host, or a statement centrepiece, you’ll soon find plenty of seasonal delights in-store. Keep your eyes peeled for what’s to come!
